30 Years Ago We Launched VantagePoint And Started Empowering Independent Traders

It’s a special time here at Vantagepoint. We are celebrating 30 years since the release of the very first iteration of our software!
While my father, Louis Mendelsohn, started our company over 40 years ago, he worked diligently for the first few years to develop what would become VantagePoint software. When he released the first version of our software, he set the industry on fire. In fact, our software’s release is regarded as the start of the FinTech industry, putting power into the hands (and fingertips!) of independent traders.
When VantagePoint was first released, home computers didn’t have hard drives. In fact, most traders didn’t have home computers. But the power of what was in those giant floppy discs revolutionized the trading industry! As home computers became more prevalent, the demand for VantagePoint grew.
Today, the power of computing is finally catching up with the power of our software! Along the way, our software has become more accurate, our neural networks continue to learn, and our family of traders has kept growing.
We’ve been a company ahead of the curve for decades and remain so. In fact, we’ve dedicated millions of dollars over the years to Research and Development to ensure our software remains cutting-edge.
My father’s books helped independent traders realize the potential of Artificial Intelligence for their own trading. Our first website became a treasure trove of information to support traders. And the industry has acknowledged how unique our software is. My father was even named a Legend of Wall Street by NASDAQ for his work.
