Market Technologies has been chosen as a Finalist in the category of Professional Services Business of the Year for the 2006 Business of the Year Awards

Wesley Chapel, FL, October 27, 2006 — Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-owned, Inc. 500, trading software company, has been chosen as a finalist in the category of Professional Services Business of the Year for the 2006 Business of the Year Awards presented by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. This is the second year in a row that Market Technologies has been a finalist.

The Awards Ceremony, a black tie event, will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. The event begins as a networking reception, followed by dinner and the awards ceremony. The event is sponsored by RBC Bank, Bay News, Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, and Audio Visual Support Services, Inc. There are nine award categories of nominees, such as the Business Team of the Year and the Education Business of the Year.
