Market Technologies Announces New Vice Presidents

Wesley Chapel, FL, December 12, 2005 – Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and CEO of Market Technologies, LLC, announced today the promotion of his two oldest sons, Lane and Ean, to positions of Vice President at the firm. According to Louis Mendelsohn, these promotions are extremely well-deserved. “These two men, while still in their early 20’s, have proven to me that second-generation-run companies need not slow down because the next generation lacks the entrepreneurial spirit. Not true at Market Technologies. I guess when you’ve been born and raised with involvement since childhood in an exciting, family-owned company that is so involved in the global financial markets, acquiring that spirit must just come naturally – or maybe it’s just in the genes. In any case I am very confident that in their new positions as Vice Presidents both Lane and Ean will continue to contribute outstandingly to the company’s continuing phenomenal growth.”

For more than a year Lane Mendelsohn has served as the firm’s Operations Manager, encompassing a wide range of duties including supervision of the Predictive Technologies Group, which involves all trading software research and development activities. Additionally, he has been responsible for overseeing the technical support, shipping and administration departments, including payroll and accounts payable functions.

In his new position as Vice President, Lane will continue to be responsible for the Predictive Technologies Group, as well as payroll and accounts payable functions. Plus, in addition to maintaining , with the recent formation of TradingEducation.com, LLC, a separate company involved in the trading education arena, he has assumed the position as Publisher of its website, www.TradingEducation.com.

According to Lane Mendelsohn “this is a tremendous opportunity for me both personally and professionally to build upon my strengths and interests in trading education as well as the development of innovative trading tools and resources to assist traders, which I have been involved in for many, many years. Since I designed the first website for Market Technologies in the mid-90’s and have continued to be active in its development since then, I am very excited at the opportunity to do something ‘really big’ as Publisher of TradingEducation.com”.

Ean Mendelsohn, who has been Market Technologies’ Sales Manager for more than a year, and prior to that the top sales associate during two of the four years when the company attained Inc. 500 status as one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States, will continue to be responsible for overseeing both the firm’s domestic and international sales.

In addition, with his appointment as Vice President he takes on overall responsibility for the shipping, technical support, and front-office departments as well. “Having accountability for the ‘three S’s of selling, shipping, and support’ will allow me to have my finger on the pulse of the entire sales process from the moment a new trader inquires about VantagePoint until he receives the software, successfully installs it on his PC, and starts putting it to use as part of his intermarket trading arsenal”, says Ean Mendelsohn.

He added “I am thrilled that the layout design of our new state-of-the-art office building, to be completed by the end of 1Q 2006, puts these three departments in close proximity to one another since this will further facilitate their integration and continued cross-training of staff between these departments so that we can better meet our clients’ needs.”
