Wesley Chapel, FL, December 9, 2005 — Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-owned, Inc. 500, trading software company, was one of the three finalists in the award category Manufacturing Business of the Year at the 2005 Business of the Year Awards Ceremony.

The gala event was held December 8th at the Hyatt Regency located in downtown Tampa to recognize the most dynamic businesses in the greater Tampa Bay area. It was sponsored by the Tampa Bay Business Journal and event sponsors RBC Bank, Bay News, Tampa Bay Workforce Alliance, and Audio Visual Support Services, Inc. More than 400 business leaders were in attendance at the black-tie cocktail party and dinner to honor Tampa Bay’s top businesses for 2005.

“I was very pleased to have Market Technologies nominated as Manufacturing Business of the Year and even more pleased to be chosen as one of the three finalists”, said Louis Mendelsohn. “We are extremely proud of our accomplishments at Market Technologies and were honored to be one of the finalists in the Manufacturing Business of the Year category.” He added “It’s not everyday that I think of Market Technologies as a manufacturer but that is in fact what we do.
