Mendelsohn Enterprises, INC. Announces its New Name – Market Technologies and Launches its Website on the World-Wide Web

Wesley Chapel, FL, April 2, 1997 — Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Mendelsohn Enterprises, Inc., a privately-held investment software firm founded in 1979, has changed its name to Market Technologies. This new name was chosen to reflect the company’s mission and research capabilities of the firm. In a related move, Market Technologies launched its new website on the world-wide web at www.ProfitTaker.com Mr. Mendelsohn, a pioneer in the development of microcomputer trading software, has been referred to as the “Father of System Testing”, due to his achievements at inventing system testing and optimization in technical analysis software for microcomputers in the early 1980s. Since then he has been a leading developer of neural network software for the financial futures markets and a proponent of intermarket analysis to address the globalization of the financial markets. Mendelsohn explains that “single-market analysis that looks only at one market at a time has become outdated and dangerous.
