Market Technologies has made a financial donation to Metropolitan Ministries

Wesley Chapel, FL, November 2, 2005 — Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-owned, Inc. 500, trading software company, has made a financial donation to Metropolitan Ministries. For more than 33 years Metropolitan Ministries has provided food, shelter, and life-altering services to malnourished and distressed people in the Tampa Bay area.

Through donations made by Market Technologies and others, Metropolitan Ministries will be able to provide thousands of people with a warm, hearty Thanksgiving meal in a friendly atmosphere. Many of the patrons are families, most are single mothers with young children, but there are also single men and women. For several years Lane and Ean Mendelsohn, Market Technologies’ Operations and Sales Managers, have volunteered their time on Thanksgiving day to support Metropolitan Ministries and its efforts. “We are happy to be able to provide Thanksgiving meals for people in our community who are less-fortunate,” said Ean Mendelsohn. “It is an opportunity to give back to our community and can be the first step in helping people get back on their feet and become more self-sufficient members of our society.”
