In 1983 Mr. Mendelsohn pioneered the first commercial trading software to perform system testing and optimization. This capability is now considered the backbone of today’s generation of single-market technical analysis software. In the mid-1980s, recognizing the emerging globalization of the world’s financial markets, Mr. Mendelsohn introduced intermarket analysis software to take into consideration the effects that markets have on each other. Then in 1991 he introduced VantagePoint Intermarket Analysis Software, which utilizes neural networks to discern patterns and relationships between markets. Market Technologies licenses VantagePoint to individual traders and institutional customers.
