Wesley Chapel, FL, July 27, 2006 — Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-owned, Inc. 500, trading software company, has made a financial donation to the Pioneer Florida Museum & Village.
The Pioneer Florida Museum is a non-profit organization that has been located in Dade City, Florida since 1961. For the past forty-five years it has served as an educational resource for Pasco County as well as surrounding counties. The museum consists of eight historic buildings, two modern buildings with pioneer farming and ranching equipment, and exhibits depicting the everyday lives of Florida’s pioneers. The Pioneer Florida Museum offers educational daily school and adult guided tours frequented by many adults and children. “Market Technologies is very happy to give back to the Pasco County community through its support of The Pioneer Florida Museum,” said Lane Mendelsohn, Vice President. “The museum not only serves to educate patrons on the history of Florida, but details the significant accomplishments of the Florida settlers as well.”
