Market Technologies Earns the Florida High Tech Corridor Technology Fast 50 Award

Wesley Chapel, FL, September 20, 2001 — Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-owned investment software firm, was honored by the Big Five accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP as a recipient of the Florida High Tech Corridor Fast 50 award. Ranked as the 30th fastest growing company in this year’s competition, this was the fourth year in a row that Market Technologies has been selected for the award. Each year, Deloitte & Touche holds the Fast 50 Competition to select the 50 fastest growing technology companies in designated regions around the country.

This year, Deloitte & Touche combined the seven-year-old Tampa Bay Technology Fast 50 and two-year-old Central Florida Technology Fast 50 programs to form the 2001 Florida High Tech Corridor Fast 50, which reflects a more comprehensive list of tech companies located throughout the Corridor. The Florida High Tech Corridor Fast 50 region now comprises twenty-one counties, including the metropolitan cities of Tampa, St. Petersburg, Orlando, Sarasota, and Clearwater, Florida.

The Florida High Tech Corridor Technology Fast 50 finalists are eligible to compete in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500, which ranks the nation’s top 500 fastest growing technology companies in the United States and Canada.
