Market Technologies donates to the Mississippi Animal Rescue League
Wesley Chapel, FL, September 19, 2005 — Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a privately-owned, Inc. 500, trading software company, has made a financial donation to the Mississippi Animal Rescue League. The emergency animal shelter has been set up for animals that had to be evacuated due to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina that struck the Gulf coast. Presently the Mississippi Animal Rescue League is providing shelter, food, water and care to more than 300 animals.
Some animals have been claimed by their owners, while others are still waiting to return home. Reunions are happening every day. People who have lost everything are holding on to their last hope that their pets will be saved. This will be an on-going relief effort as the animals’ owners are working to rebuild their lives after such a monumental tragedy. The Mississippi Animal Rescue League has been able to save hundreds of animals due to the generous financial and tangible contributions such as the one made by Market Technologies.
