Our hearts are heavy, but we’ve found ways to help the people of Ukraine
Vantagepoint A.I. has traders in over 160 countries; we also have people on our team from all over the world. We are so sad to see what is happening in Ukraine and Russia; it is heartbreaking. After speaking with some of the people on our team who are from Ukraine and Russia about how we can help, we have selected some charities on their advice who are on the ground, that are reputable, and that we can support as a company.
We are deeply concerned about the effects of war on children, so we are supporting Save the Children with a donation.
They are providing necessities and psychological help to refugee children immediately.
I’m pleased to say we can contribute to their vital work.
As you know, it is brutally cold in Ukraine right now and so many people had to flee with so little; Save The Children will ensure that children and families are safe from physical harm as well as emotional harm.
We also contributed GlobalGiving’s Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. They are providing shelter, food, clean water, health, and psychosocial support to the more than 3.4 million people displaced by this war.
Additionally, many on our own team have made donations on their own too. Both as a company and as individuals, we will continue to support charities doing the hard work of protecting children and families as they escape the violence that has gripped Ukraine.
The needs of the Ukrainian people right now are massive. We believe it’s important to focus on and ensure that we can help in whatever way we can. We won’t be decreasing our regular giving to Shriners Hospitals for Children or The Children’s Cancer Center though. Instead, we’re stepping up to do even more.
I hope you’ll consider helping the charities of your choice at this crucial time. As I said, we are a family of many countries, and we all want to help those enduring this horrible moment in history in any way we can.
